Let's do this

Now that Colin Powell has endorsed Barack Obama, what will happen to those who suppose that Obama is a danger to the United States? Will they run out of attacks; will they attempt to formulate popular policies and actually sell those as Republican? Have they any hope of winning? I say no. I say they have to save face as parties with pundits still must always do. But win, they shall not. I and a few of you, I am aware of, have looked up, googled, and searched Barack Obama since his speech at the convention four years ago, as have I. He is spotless. He is smart and well spoken...not for a black man...but for any man. He is a cut above and the clear choice. Negative campaigning is not a strategy that will benefit McCain against this man, whethere he continues to use it or not.

Huck, the night I saw him speak at the Kerry Convention I was awestruck and told everyone I knew that he'd be our first black President. Little did I know he would be at the next Convention as the Nominee!

I too checked him out at that time trying to find anything I could on him. I was impressed then with his background and his lilly white life, and I'm even more impressed with him since he started running. I can't remember ANY candidate -- ever -- running such a fabulous campaign!

The new attacks are over the huge amounts of money he has raised when McCain is constrained because of his decision to take Federal Funds.

#1. I believe ALL campaigns should raise money this way. The number of Obama's contributorss is astounding... and the average contribution is $100 or under. That tells me that the Fat Cats don't own him.

#2. There was nothing to stop McCain from doing the same thing, other than his belief that he wouldn't be able to raise that much AND he didn't believe Obama would continue raising money the way he had during the Primaries.

They're bitching now that it's unfair because Obama has so much more moneey to spend on his campaign and he should have "kept his word". Well, his word was that IF HE COULD WORK IT OUT WITH THE REPUBLICAN NOMINEE, he'd take Federal money. He and the Republican nominee (McCain) never came to an agreement. In fact, when Obama tried to contact him, McCain blew him off by not responding to him. He did the same thing he did when Obama called him at 8:30 a.m to discuss the economic disaster. He failed to return his calls, then announced something that Obama had suggested but didn't call Obama to make it joint.

I agree, they're gonna keep coming even after Obama becomes President.
I sincerely believe He is for real. Y'all know Suzee and I can find almost anything(cept for binLaden) and neither of us has ever found anything on Sen Obama.
So let the doers do what they do.
Can't stop em anywaze.

I agree with Chris Rock. If Osama bin Laden had taken out any guaranteed student loans over his life...they'd know exactly where he was....he'd be getting calls and letters, too. Put the student loan people on him and he'll be found within a matter of days!

Obama is the real McCoy...political crackshots aside. Lies are the only arguments against him or his record.
